Acoustic Chill
Gentle acoustic covers of songs you already love, introduced by a DJ who knows the originals.
Acoustic Chill is a station of stripped-down covers. Independent artists like Boyce Avenue, Sinclair, Kory Wheeler, Jada Facer, Jonah Baker and Bobby Brinker take on songs such as Iris, Mr. Brightside, Somewhere Only We Know, Birds of a Feather, The Scientist and Stand By Me with just a guitar or a piano. Many are fresh takes on recent hits, like Cruel Summer, drivers license and Please Please Please, while others revisit older favourites like Your Song and What A Wonderful World.
It's for working, reading, a quiet morning, or a coffee shop feeling at home. Before each track, your DJ gives a short intro about the song, and the music dips softly while they talk, then comes back. A calm tone and a minimal talk level keep the mood easy.
