Radio, the way it should sound

Stationz.fm is an independent product made by Nir Kalfon, a founder based in Israel. It started from a simple feeling: playlists are great, but they're quiet. Good radio has a host who knows the music and tells you something worth hearing before the next song starts.

Stationz brings that host to the music you already play. It's a Chrome extension that adds an AI radio DJ to YouTube playlists. The DJ introduces each song, the music dips while it talks, and then the song plays. You choose the DJ, how much it talks, the tone and the language.

Where the DJ's stories come from

We don't want a DJ that makes things up. Stationz keeps a music library of facts taken from Wikipedia and MusicBrainz, matched carefully to the right song. When a song is in the library, the DJ tells those stories, and it never repeats a fact you've already heard. On top of that we research long stories about 201 artists, from the first rehearsals to the stories people still argue about, each with its sources. You can read them all in Artist stories.

When accounts disagree, we say so. Disputed stories are labeled as disputed, with the different versions and who tells them.
