Nirvana

Nirvana from About A Girl to You Know You're Right, with a DJ who tells the story behind each song.

Play with a DJOpen on YouTube

The Nirvana station follows the band through Bleach-era songs like About A Girl and Negative Creep, then Smells Like Teen Spirit, In Bloom, Come As You Are, Lithium and Drain You, the In Utero songs Heart-Shaped Box, Dumb, Pennyroyal Tea and All Apologies, and the MTV Unplugged takes of The Man Who Sold The World and Where Did You Sleep Last Night. Rarer songs like Sliver, Been A Son and Aneurysm show the band away from the big singles.

It's for fans and for anyone who wants to hear the band beyond the one big hit. Before each song, your DJ gives a short intro drawn from a deep researched dossier, with checked facts and disputed stories flagged as disputed. The music dips while they talk, then comes back.
